How to reach us
Car
WARNING – New road access to reach our hotel
Set VIALE III FEBBRAIO as destination in your GPS navigation device. Go along Viale III Febbraio, you will be in Modena limited traffic zone. Turn off the GPS and follow the signs “Best Western Hotel Libertà” and follow the sign “Hotel Libertà Garage” to reach our hotel.
Leave the motorway at Modena Nord and take the ring road towards Centro/Bologna, exit no. 8. At the junction turn right and continue straight until the roundabout, take exit no. 3 then at the next roundabout take exit no. 2.
Go up the railway bridge and, at the roundabout beyond the bridge, take exit no. 2 in front onto Corso Vittorio Emanuele (avenue with a central flowerbed). Straight on to the end you arrive at the back of the Palazzo Ducale, turn left onto C.so Cavour and always straight you go around the Palazzo Ducale. Take the first right onto C.so Accademia Militare and then immediately left onto Via Santa Margherita, at the end right onto Via Fonteraso and continue straight to the end. At the end of the road, turn left and then immediately right onto Via Taglio. At the first left you have arrived at Via Blasia.
Where to park your car
In our internal paid guarded garage located next to the hotel (as spaces are limited it is best to book it before arrival) or free of charge with our pass, to be collected at the reception, in the entire limited traffic area near our hotel for the entire duration of your stay 24 hours a day without paying the parking meters. The areas closest to the Hotel are: Piazza San Domenico, Via Belle Arti, Via Sgarzeria, C.so Cavour, C.so Vittorio Emanuele, C.so Canalgrande.

You can enter the ZTL and drive right up to the hotel without incurring any fines. After your arrival, simply tell the reception your car’s license plate and you will be allowed to drive for the entire duration of your stay.
Train
On foot from the station (1km):
Leaving the station in Piazza Dante Alighieri straight ahead in Via Galvani until the traffic light cross straight Viale Monte Kosica to the end turn left in Via San Martino then at the end right in C.so Vittorio Emanuele. At the end of the street turn right and immediately left around the Palazzo Ducale in Via 3 Febbraio then at the end of the Palace turn left in Piazza Roma and the first on the right is Via dei Lovoleti which then becomes Via Blasia.
By bus from the station:
Bus n°7 direction GOTTARDI stop Piazza Mazzini or Bus n°11 direction ZODIACO stop Piazza Mazzini.
Plane
From Bologna airport by car (45 Km) or by train from Bologna central station (20 minutes) or with the AerBus shuttle bus that directly connects Bologna airport with the center of Modena. Our Hotel is located near both the stop in Largo Garibaldi or Caduti in Guerra.
