by car along the motorway from Bologna, exit Modena Nord, following signs for the centre, or using the "Aerbus" shuttle service directly from the airport to Modena city centre

BY CAR:
Leave the motorway at Modena Nord and take the bypass (tangenziale) towards the city centre/Bologna. Leave the bypass at exit 10 and follow signs to the centre (centro), railway station (stazione ferroviaria) and Palazzo Ducale. At the station roundabout, take Corso Vittorio Emanuele and continue to the end as far as the Palazzo Ducale, turn left on Corso Cavour, continue straight ahead and turn right on Corso Canalgrande, take the first on the right on Corso Accademia Militare, take the first on the left on Via Santa Margherita (it is forbidden to go straight ahead, it is forbidden the transit through Piazza Roma in front of the Ducal Palace), take the first on the right on Via Fonteraso, go along Via Fonteraso and then turn left on Via Farini (Largo San Giorgio), take the first on the right on Via Taglio (pedestrian area), take the first on the left on Via Blasia, the Best Western Hotel Libertà is on the left side

BY TRAIN:
in 10 minutes, leaving on foot from the station, turn left at the lights and then immediately right onto Corso Vittorio Emanuele, walk to the end and then around the Palazzo Ducale.
